Associator
Designate Delegator
An Associator is appointed by an Operator by assigning one account on a per-project basis.
An Associator may be appointed to only those that are intellectual property (IP) holders of the Project or with equivalent administrative authority, and the Operator shall make the judgement.
Due to the nature of the intellectual property (IP) interests, the Associator will not change after its initial designation unless there is a specific reason. However, if all of the following cases are met, the Operator can change the Associator.
If the Operator determines that it is necessary to change the Associator
If there is a problem with the Associator's R&R implementation
If the Operator determines that the change of Associator is not a problem for maintaining the operation and value of the project
If the governance proposal for the change of Associator is voted in favor of at least 30% of the total governance of the project
Roles and Responsibilities
The Associator secures the right to sell intellectual property (IP) and the right to use secondary works for the operation of the project, and manages related contracts and stakeholders.
Associators arrange for Creators to create collections to be included in the project, and manage the contracts and stakeholders involved.
The Associator fulfils the Operator's intellectual property rights (IP) and other requirements of the Creator.
Associators may not sell tokens acquired through Offering Items Ownership within 360 days from the time they own the Tokens during the compensation system.
